Maps were created on the base of generalized information about species distribution from published sourses (accuracy till regions).

The technique of drawing up of a map:

Area map of Garden radish Raphanus sativus L. var. sativus was made on the base of literature data (Atlas, 1960; State ., 1994, 2004) using map of arable territory of the USSR (The Computer., 2003). Area covers almost all arable territory of the USSR (Cultural flora, 1971; Vekhov, 1978; Matveev, Rubtsov, 1985;) Main plantations are situated in north-western and central zones of Russia, Siberia, the Ural zone (Cultural flora, 1971).
