Accuracy of the classifier:

In the territory of the former USSR the fungus is marked in Non-Chernozem zone only without indication for its severity (Khokhryakova et al., 1984).

Procedure of the map drawing:

The area of the fungus distribution is drawn by results of the analysis of the published data. The analysis has shown that the Anthracnose is marked on Alfalfa in the Non-Chernozem zone of Russia only, i.e., in the Moscow, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Bryansk, Orel, and Tula Regions (Khokhryakova et al., 1984). Therefore, the disease distribution coincides with the areas of the greatest distribution of alfalfa in these regions according with vector layer shown by I.E. Koroleva et al. (2003). Vectoring of the scanned raster map is carried out by standard GIS-technologies.
