Map is a vector file consisting of polygons and points. Locations of species are represented by points, areas of possible distribution of species are represented by polygons.Accuracy of the qualifier:
Points represent locations of the species referenced in literature sources. Polygons are based on generalized information from literature sources.Method of map contruction:
The data on distribution of the species were obtained from published maps of Svjazeva (1980), Zhukova for "Atlas of areas and resources of medicinal plants in the USSR" (1983), Busik for "Flora of Central Sieberia" (1979), Hulten (1986), Koropachinskiy (2002).In the European part borders of the area are constructed out on Zhukova's maps (1983). In the Asian part: northern border of the area is carried according to Svjazeva's maps (1980) and Koropachinskiy's maps (1983), north-east border is carried on Zhukova's maps (1983). East, south-western and southern borders of the area in Siberia and Northern Kazakhstan (before Ural) are constructed on the basis of Svjazeva's data (1980), in Transbaikalia - on the basis of Busik's data (1979). Some locations of this species points beyond the border of basic area are not included in to final polygon because it is necessary make supplementary investigations.
