The vector map of area consists of 2 layers: with polygons and with points.

Accuracy of the qualifier:

Maps were created on the base of generalized information about species distribution from published sourses (accuracy till regions).

The technique of drawing up of a map:

The area map was created on the base of literature data (Atlas, 1960; State list, 1994, 2004 etc.) and arable territory map for USSR (The Computer, 2003). Area covers territories of Middle Asia republics, Transcaucasica, North Caucasus, south Ukraine, Lower Volga, Moldova (Filov, 1956; Biology, 1998). The species is moved forward to Nechernozen zone (Vehov, 1978; Rusanov, 1988), but northern boundary of industrial cultivation goes by line of active temperature 3000 degree of Celsius (Bekseev, 1998). Temperature line was built with help of software IDRISI by Reclassification. Point area was created by literature data (Filov, 1956; Mezentseva, Belousov, 1980; Khrenova, 1981; Makarov, 1990). The consultation during of map creation was given by scientist of genetis resourses of vegetable and melon-growing cultures department of VIR, PhD I.V. Gashkova.
