Accuracy of the classifier:

In the geographical area of the disease the zone of constant and strong Club Root appearance (over 20-30% of plants are infested) and distribution are outlined; as well as zone with moderate (no more than 10-20% of plants are infested) or strong club root appearance on small areas ; zone with weak (to more than 5% plants are infested) or periodic focal Club Root appearance on insignificant area; and the individual foci are shown.

Procedure of map drawing:

Zones of harmfulness are compiled by results of the analysis of the open published cartographical materials and literature. The Club Root maps have been taken as a basis from collection of papers "Distribution of pests and diseases in agricultural crops in the USSR in 1962 and the forecast of their appearance in 1963" (1963) and "Methods of the territorial long-term forecast of plant diseases" (1971), which have been supplemented with data taken from mentioned below sources. The limits of zones in the European part are marked on the base of literature data (Sokolov, Tupenevich, 1974; Mazin, Protsenko, 1975; Vladimirskaya et al., 1986); in Azerbaijan (Abdullayev, 1965; Ibragimov, Akhmedov, 1966; Ibragimov, Mustafaev, 1968), and also in the Far East (Nelen, Vasilieva, 1958), in Siberia (Arsenyev et al., 1957; Golubintseva, 1958; Arsenyev, 1962). Registration and vectoring of raster maps is executed by standard means of GIS.
