The area represents the disease distribution, where the rust of Alfalfa has been revealed according to scientific publications. The area of disease distribution is similar with the zone of disease low severity (to 10%).Procedure of map drawing:
The area of the Rust of Alfalfa has been marked on a blank map. In the Former Soviet Union the disease was registered in all regions of Alfalfa cultivation (Transhel', 1939, quot. on: Karimov, 1961). The disease area of distribution is similar with the zone of disease low severity (to 10%) (Guseva & Frolovskaya, 1971; Pokataev et al., 1975; Kalinina et al., 1985; Borisov et al., 1999; Luk'yanova et al., 2001; Berdysh, 2004).
