In the cotton area, the distribution of cotton root rots caused by two fungi is determined.Method of map production:
Published materials are used for map drawing (Gorlenko, 1968; Zdrozhevskaya, 1969; Menlikiev, 1973; Peresypkin, 1974; 1987). Root rot of cotton caused by the fungus T.cucumeris, is shown everywhere in the countries of the former USSR where varieties of G.hirsutum and G.barbadense are cultivated. Black root rot caused by the fungus T.basicola is distributed on cotton varieties of G.barbadense in Turkmenistan and in some areas of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Specification of the distribution area is made on vector map of the cotton greatest distribution in the countries of the former USSR according to I.E. Koroleva et al. (2003).Reference citations:
