As Septoria Leaf Spot of Sunflower in Russia and other countries of the former USSR is found everywhere without expressed fluctuations in sunflower area, therefore only one zone of the disease occurrence is determined. It coincides with the culture area in those countries.

Procedure of map drawing:

Published materials are used to create the map (Gorlenko, 1968; Tikhonov, 1975; Kukin, 1982). On this basis the Septoria Leaf Spot distribution has been shown in the limits of sunflower industrial growing zone according to vector layer of I.E. Koroleva et al. (2003).
