Vector map consists of two thematic layers describing a zone of distribution and a zone of high severity of the disease on fruit cultures.

Accuracy of the classifier:

The area represents the disease distribution where the Crown Gall of Fruit Cultures has been revealed according to scientific publications. The zone of high disease severity is determined in those regions where plants may be damaged by more than 10%.

Method of map production:

The map is compiled by results of the analysis of the open published materials. The disease distribution is shown on map of the former USSR territories where fruit cultures are growing (Vzorov, 1938; Izral.skii, 1960; Gorlenko, 1966; Isaeva, 1966; Mamedov, 1975, 1976; Nagapetyan, 1975; Kuz.michev, 1976; Palavandishvili, Tsilisani, 1976; Babayan et al., 1977; Makrushina, 1977; Solovei, 1977; Tsilosani et al., 1977; Mager, 1980; Nagapetyan, Kazaryan, 1980; Panfilov, 1980; Shpaar et al., 1980; Kiryukhina, 1981; Ivanov, Metlitskii, 1985; Bilai et al., 1988; Myalova, 1990). The zone of high severity includes Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan (Isaeva, 1966; Mamedov, 1975, 1976; Nagapetyan, 1975; Babayan et al., 1977; Mager, 1980; Nagapetyan, Kazaryan, 1980; Kiryukhina, 1981; Myalova, 1990). Specification of the area and disease severity zone borders configuration is executed according to the map of fruit cultures. distribution, proposed by Tochenov (1984).
