It is created on materials of map of natural scale 1:33 000 000.Projection:

Vector map is composed of three thematic layers. Zones of distribution and severity are shown by polygons.Accuracy of the classifier:
The area of distribution is divided into two zones of severity according to Yu.I. Vlasov et al. (1973). In the zone of moderate severity, the disease development on potato is less than 20% and epiphytoties are rare. In the zone of low severity, the disease development is about 5-7% or less.Method of map production:
The area of the Tobacco Rattle Virus covers all territories of potato cultivation. Zones of severity are drawn on a blank map based on published references. The zone of moderate severity includes Leningrad and Moscow regions, Tatarstan (Antonova et al., 1982; Vlasov, Larina, 1982; Samsonova et al., 2001; Tsyplenkov, Larina, 1975). The zone of low severity is marked in Byelorussia, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Primorskii Territory. Some foci of the disease are observed in other parts of the territory. The vector map of arable lands has been also used for the correction of damage zones (Koroleva et al., 2003).Reference citations:
