Disease distribution area is divided into three zones of disease severity: high (>30% infection), moderate (10-30% infection), and low (<10% infection) according to Chumakov and Zaharova (1990). Zones of distribution and harmfulness were identified by a review of published scientific materials.Method of map production:
Definition of disease distribution was carried out on vector layer of regions where wheat is grown. Published literature was reviewed, including Atlases, monographs and papers. Data were then compiled through scanning and geo-referencing to develop a composite vector map. The biologist, together with the GIS specialist, drew a composite weed distribution area based on compiled data.Reference citations:
