Zones of distribution and harm were identified based on analysis of the cartographical materials published. A map by A.F.Korshunova, et al. (1976) was used as a basis with corrections and additions for main zones of wheat growing made as follows: Non-Chernozem region (Shirko,1948; Golubnitseva, Savelyeva, 1975; Korshunova, 1975; Tupenevich, Kononov, Airumov, 1977), North Caucasus (Shirko, 1953; Volchkova, 1970; Korshunova, 1970; Kuznetsova, Ivanchenko, 1970), Byelorussia (Shirko, 1953, Ponomareva, 1970), Ukraine (Ponomareva, 1970), Georgia (Endeladze, 1970, 1975), Azerbaijan (Ibragimov, 1984), Latvia (Shkipsna, 1970), Lithuania (Shpokauskene, 1976). A zone of the highest harm was chosen based on the map by A.F. Korshunova et al. (1976).Reference citations:
