The distribution and harm zones of Stagonospora nodorum Blotch on wheat were allocated by results of the analysis of open published materials. The borders of the strong harm zone marks the territoty, where intensity of disease development is more 25% during a phase of wheat maturation.Procedure of map drawing:
Distribution of Stagonospora nodorum Blotch on wheat was determined by result of analysis of local publications. The published cartographical materials of the All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Pathology on distribution of Septoria species in Russian Federation were mainly used. (Zakharenko et al., 2003). S. nodorum area and domination zones were identified by analysis of occurrence frequency of the species in different regions, and frequency of epiphytoties and yield losses (Sanin et al., 1999; Zakharenko et al., 2000). Definition of the disease distribution was carried out on vector layer of wheat growing regions. The blank map with outlines of area was scanned. Registration and vectoring of raster map were performed by standard tools of current GIS-technologies.Related references:
