1:20 000 000.Accuracy of the map:
It is created on materials of the map with scale 1:33 000 000, on the basis of information taken from literature.Projection:
.Alber.s Equal Conica for the USSR., 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.Basic content:
Vector map, which consists of 2 thematic layers. Area of distribution and zone of damage are shown by polygons.Accuracy of the classifier:
Within the area of distribution, the zone of low pest damage is only established according to the extent of its damage to agricultural plants. In the zone of low damage, harmfulness of A. viridis is about 2-3 points under the 5-point scale of harmfulness (Kopaneva et al., 1984). Threshold of harmfulness on the currant plantations is 5-8 adults per 1 bush after blossoming.Method of map production:
Data from the open publications are used for allocation of the pest area and zone damage. It inhabits the European part of the USSR northward to Karelia, White Sea and Komi Republic (Rikhter, 1944; Sedykh, 1974; Yakovlev et al., 1986), whole Caucasus (Samedov, 1963), most part of Western and Eastern Siberia, Far East (Mikhal'tsov, 1969; Anisimova, 1978), Middle Asia, Kazakhstan (Alekseev, 1989). Northern borders of the species area are established after distribution of its host plants (Alekseev, 1989), i.e., along forest-tundra zone (Vorob.eva, 1986). The zone of low damage comprises territory of currant growing in forest-steppe zone of Ukraine (Savkovskii & Rybalov, 1981) and in Non-Chernozem zone of Russia (Kopaneva et al., 1984).Reference citations:
