Data from the open publications are used for allocation of area. In the former USSR, the area includes territory westward of the Dnepr River valley (Medvedev & Shapiro, 1965; Lopatin et al., 1974); i.e., Lithuania and Latvia (Silfverberg, 1992), Belarus (Bienkowski, 2004; Lopatin & Nesterova, 2005), Ukraine and Moldova (Brovdii, 1974; Bienkowski, 2004). Perhaps information on C. sophiae from Kirov and Penza Regions and Udmurtia (Bienkowski, 2004) is a result of misidentification.Reference citations:
