1:20,000,000.Accuracy of map:
Map was created using herbarium specimen data and on maps to the scale of 1:10,000,000.The projection:
"Alber's Equal Area Conic for Russia", 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.Basic contents:
Map is a vector file consisting of polygons and points. Locations of species are represented by points; areas of possible species distribution are represented by polygons.Accuracy of the qualifier:
Points represent locations of the species referenced in literature and the locations from which herbarium specimens were taken. Polygons are based on generalized information from literature and herbarium specimen data.Mapping procedure:
Species location data were obtained from a database of species location coordinates, the INFORMATION RETRIEVAL SYSTEM "Wild-growing relatives of cultural plants of Russia" (NTC "Informregistr" № 0229905883), as well as the maps published by N.N.Kachura (1987) in "Vascular plants of the Soviet Far East". The border of the general distribution area was constructed using "Vascular plants of the Soviet Far East" (1988) and the species location information found in the information retrieval SYSTEM (herbarium BPI DVO the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science (Vladivostok)).Sources of data:
BPI and DVO herbariums at the Russian Academy of Science (Vladivostok).Harkevich S.S., ed. 1988. Vascular plants of the Soviet Far East. V. 2. Leningrad: Nauka, p. 378-379.
