Basic contents:

Vector file consisting of polygons and points. Locations of species are represented by points, areas of possible distribution of species are represented by polygons.

Accuracy of classifier:

Points represent locations of the species referenced in literature sources and from herbarium specimens. Polygons are based on generalized information from literature sources and herbarium specimens.

Method of map production:

Species location data were obtained from a database of site coordinates of the species in the INFORMATION RETRIEVAL SYSTEM "Wild-growing relatives of cultural plants of Russia " (NTC "Informregistr" № 0229905883) and published maps by N.N.Kachura for " Vascular plants of the Soviet Far East "(1987); by N.V.Friesen (1987, 1988). Far East border of area is arranged on the basis of map from "Vascular plants of the Soviet Far East " (1988), v.2, and on the basis of herbarium data (N.I.Vavilov All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Industry, Saint-Petersburg State University, Dagestan State University). At Siberian part of area borders are constructed in accordance with maps published by Friesen (1987, 1988).
