The map was created using maps of scale 1:50,000,000, 1:30,000,000, 1:10,000,000, and 1:5,000,000.Projection:
.Alber's Equal Area Conic for Russia., 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.Basic contents:
Vector map. Locations of species are represented by points; area of possible distribution of species is represented by polygon.Exactness of classifier:
Points of different colors represent locations of species determined using literature and herbarium materials.Method of map construction:
Point area includes locations of species determined according to the following sources: Flora of Siberia (Malyshev & Peshkov, 1990), Flora of Central Siberia (Malyshev & Peshkov, 1979), Plant Vasculare of Soviet Far East (Harkevich, 1991), and the V.L. Komarov Botanic Institute herbarium. Polygon areas were established using species distribution data for floristic regions found in Poaceae USSR (Tzvelev, 1976). The map.s final legend is bi-colored. Dark points represent locations of species determined using herbarium materials. Light points represent locations of species referenced in literature. Polygon is a result of integrating data from numerous sources; the southern border matches the state border of Russia; the western and north borders were created using point data from Flora of Siberia (Malyshev & Peshkov, 1990), Flora of Central Siberia (Malyshev & Peshkov, 1979), and herbarium specimens from the V.L. Komarov Botanical Institute; the eastern border was created using point data from Plant Vascular of Soviet Far East (Harkevich, 1991). Several points in the Far East were not included in the polygon area, as they could represent invasions (Poaceae USSR (Tzvelev, 1976)). One point in Siberia was not included in the polygon because this data needs to be verified. Distribution area map was also takes into account ecology data from .Descriptions..Sources of data:
