The range map is based on original maps compiled by the author according to herbarium materials of V.L.Komarov Botanical Institute (LE) and the Institutes of Botany of Kazakhstan (AA), Uzbekistan (TASH), Tajikistan (TAD) and Turkmenistan (ASH). In the former USSR, the range covers sand areas of Kazakhstan and Central Asia from Mangyshlak Peninsula to Alakol Lake and the valley of the Ili River Или (Northern Aral Sea Area, Kyzyl Kum, Kara Kum, Muyun Kum deserts, Balkhash Lake area).References:
