Accuracy of the qualifier:

The dots represent information on the species localities: 1 - reliable data from herbarium and published sources; the polygons (1) - generalized information on the species distribution from published sources and herbarium specimens.

Method of the map construction:

The data from the herbarium materials of LE, a published map of a part of the species range (Grossheim, 1952), and published data (Bobrov, 1945, 1987) were used for constructing the range of Trifolium hirtum. The range is disjunctive and consists of two polygons and dots. The species range in the Caucasus covers Transcaucasia and Talysh, in the Crimea - the southern coast.
