The map is a vector file consisting of 1 basic and 2 subject layers. The species range is represented by polygons and dots.

Accuracy of the qualifier:

The dots represent information on the species localities: 1 - reliable data from herbarium and published sources; polygons (1) - generalized information on the species distribution from published sources and herbarium specimens.

Method of the map construction:

The data from the herbarium materials of LE, published maps (Grossheim, 1952), and published data (Bobrov, 1945, 1987) were used for constructing the range of Trifolium lappaceum. The species range consists of four polygons and dots. The first polygon is located in the southern Crimea, the second one in the Caucasus, the third in southwestern Kopet-Dagh, the fourth lies within southwestern Tajikistan. The range border is drawn taking account of typical conditions of the species occurrence (the species occurs in the zone of ephemerous low-montane vegetation). Separate localities of the species in the Black Sea area are sporadic.
