Map is based on data from herbarium specimans and specified on maps having the following scale - 1:25 000 000.The projection:
"Alber's Equal Area Conic for Russia", 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0Basic content:
Map is a vector fail consisting of polygon and points. Locations of species are represented by points, area of possible distribution of species are represented by polygon.Accuracy of the qualifier:
Points are locations of species that were reported from herbarium samples. Polygon is based on generalized information from literature sources, herbarium specimans, political boundaries and ecological description.Method of map construction:
Data of herbarium collections (Komarov Botanical Institute (SPb, Russia)), the literary data (Nikitin, Geldihanov, 1988, Grossheim, 1948), and also the published maps of species area (Svjazeva, 1986) have served as a working material for construction of species area. Within the limits of the former USSR the area has well expressed disjunctive character and consists of several rather small ranges and separate points. The Crimean range covers sites of species in the south of the Crimean peninsula. Distribution of species in territory of Central Asia is dated to Western Kopet-Dagh and Pomir-Alai, that is submitted on a map as two Central Asian ranges - Kopet-Dagh and Pamiro-Alai. Set of sites of the species along east coast of Black sea unites Prichernomorsky (Close to Black Sea) range. Three small Caucasian ranges unite not numerous sites of species in other territory of Caucasus. The points which were not including in borders of ranges, represent secondary, invasive habitats of species.Sources of the data:
