It is created on materials of map of natural scale 1: 10 000 000 and on literature data.Projection:
"Alber's Equal Area Conic for the USSR", 9, 1001, 7, 100, 0, 44, 68, 0, 0.Basic content:
Vector map. Area of distribution is shown by polygons (main distribution) and by dots (sporadic distribution).Accuracy of the classifier:
Area is subdivided into zones of main and sporadic distribution.Method of map production:
The map is made according to the analysis of the open published maps and literature. A map compiled by the authors is taken as a prototype; it is based on literature data (Nikitin, 1983) on growth of this weed in various floristic regions, being superimposed with maps of floristic regions (Komarov, 1934; Fedorov, 1981). The Branched Broomrape distribution in the former USSR is supported by the literature data (Geideman, 1954; Zernov, 2002;Grossgeim, 1949; Rubtsov, 1972). The Branched Broomrape litters cultural crops with abundance 2 points and lower; therefore, a zone of its weediness is inexpediently to allocate.Reference citations:
