Distribution area and zones of weediness are based on an analysis of cartographic materials published in the literature. Maps from Kharkevich (1989) were used as a base map, supplemented by information from the below-mentioned sources. The northern and western boundaries of the area were outlined according to the same source. Borders of zones of weediness are based on Nikitin (1983).Method of map production:
Published literature was reviewed, including Atlases, monographs and papers. Data were then compiled through scanning and geo-referencing to develop a composite vector map. The biologist, together with the GIS specialist, drew a composite weed distribution area based on compiled data.Reference citations:
